The first edition of the North American School of Internet Governance (NASIG) 2018 will take place from March 7 - 9, 2018, at the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico, 377 Ponce De Leon Avenue, San Juan, 00918, Puerto Rico.
Registration Fee: $250. Includes: three days of classes, certificate of attendance, academic materials, some meals, and attendance at evening events.
Participation: Open to residents of Canada, Continental U.S., Puerto Rico, and their respective territories. The number of participants is limited to 40.
Fellowships: There are a limited number of grants for the NASIG 2018; fellows will be selected taking into account professional background, gender and geographic and multi-stakeholder balance.
Three types of partial fellowships will be available:
Registration Fellowship: Beneficiaries of this grant will have their registration fee waived. The fellow will be responsible for covering all other costs, including travel and accommodation (if applicable).
Registration and Accommodation Fellowship: Beneficiaries of this grant will have the cost of registration and hotel accommodation covered. The fellow will be responsible for covering the costs of (air) travel (if applicable) and all other incidental expenses. No per diem is provided.
- Registration, Accommodation and Air Travel Fellowship: Beneficiaries of this grant will have the cost of registration, hotel accommodation and their airfare covered. Beneficiaries of this grant will be responsible for covering all of their incidental expenses. No per diem is provided.
